The death toll in Gaza has surpassed a grisly 80,000. Per reports, Israeli forces have committed at least 19 separate massacres over the last month. Humanitarian aid corridors remain nothing more than state-managed execution grounds.

For decades, U.S. imperialism has sought to dominate West Asia through coups, sanctions, military bases, and proxy wars, all under the banner of "freedom" or "democracy," but the real aim has always been the suppression of independent development and control of oil, trade routes, and the political future of the region. Today's talk of regime change or "nuclear security" is not about liberation, but about maintaining imperial domination.

Rep. Greg Landsman claims Iran poses an "existential threat" and that "diplomacy has been given every opportunity." Normally, we would demand accountability from our elected officials, but Landsman has made clear, time and again, that he does not serve his constituents. Instead, we call on the people to abandon Landsman, who continues to stand with empire, apartheid, and unending war.

Every month, the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza reaches new levels of devastation. The so-called "aid corridor" at the Rafah border remains a PR stunt. Despite international promises, aid is not reaching the people who need it. Those who make their way to humanitarian aid sites are shot and killed in cold blood by the Israeli military.

While the state continues to shield Israel from accountability, the people of Ohio are making it clear: we do not consent to our tax dollars funding genocide. The laws may be written against us, but history is not. From Cincinnati to Gaza, liberation will be won by the organized and uncompromising struggle of the international proletariat.

Solidarity with the Palestinian resistance must be uncompromising. There is no middle ground between imperialism and liberation. The Palestinian cause demands internationalist, anti-imperialist, and socialist solidarity, not performative slogans and conditional support. 

Hundreds of immigrants have been deported around the country after President Trump invoked the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 for the first time since World War II. Using a centuries-old wartime law to target alleged members of a Venezuelan gang (Tren De Aragua), the new administration continues to arrest, detain, and deport more and more people while the bourgeois media focuses on legal battles against the administration that will take months to resolve.

As we approach the end of what is on track to be the hottest year ever recorded (a record that, without fail, continues to be broken with each successive year), this question seems to have crossed most peoples’ minds at some point or another over the last few months.
